Our Story

World-class drying technology expert

Agratechniek has been inventing and building for 50 years.

Agratechniek’s identity has been shaped by the fertile ground upon which our company originated: the Anna Paulownapolder, the last polder in the Netherlands constructed with private funds. This land reclamation project led to a transformation from fishing grounds to flower bulb cultivation, requiring frequent adaptation to unexpected circumstances. It was an environment where only agile, persistent individuals had a chance of success. In essence, this is also what Agratechniek is engaged in every day: creating drying equipment that is in demand and does not yet exist in this specific form, or a technical product that we ourselves expect will help our customers move forward.

At Agratechniek, characteristics apply that are each connected to the North Holland pioneering spirit. These characteristics are reflected in our work culture and in our relationship with our customers. Entrepreneurial, innovative, and solution-oriented – these are the core values from which we operate, consciously and unconsciously. That is just how we are, period.

Innovative

No two customers have the same request; we have learned that from experience. This has made us resourceful in the field of drying technology and measurement and control technology. Modular basic solutions with self-developed software and processors are our trademark.

Solution-oriented

What we do is demand-driven nine out of ten times. The customer’s needs are the starting point for almost every drying capacity we create. That is why we attach so much value to the personal relationship with our customers; we want to know exactly what we need to work towards.

Entrepreneurial

No matter what the question is, we simply get to work on it. We do not shy away from adventure. This mentality has taken Agratechniek to six continents and yielded new markets. Taking initiative is also an essential part of our internal corporate culture; we give everyone the opportunity to develop new ideas.
